Change of venue…

Lubeck

For reasons that are both simple and unbearably complex, convoluted and ugly, the next Agincourt exhibit “Homecoming/Coming Home” will not be staged at the Rourke Art Museum in Moorhead, Minnesota. If anyone has suggestions for another venue, please let me know, since we have invested considerable energy (and money) in conceiving the exhibit and working toward that October 2012 public opening.

I hope to hear from many of you.

Have you considered (maybe someday) bringing the Agincourt exhibit “home” to Iowa?

Thanks, Tim. As a matter of fact, I’m talking with someone else (though no assurances yet) and intend to broach the subject of Agincourt going on the road. Nothing would make me happier than 1) to settle on a Fargo-Moorhead venue and 2) find at least one location in Iowa to host the exhibit there.

Incidentally, the photo above is a model of Medieval Lubeck, a Hanseatic League city.

Hopkins Center for Arts in Hopkins, Mn may be a consideration.

Thanks, Jan. Strange you should suggest Hopkins… I’ve wanted to talk with the folks there about a student project they might entertain. Perhaps you’ve given me the push I needed.
