19th Century Manufacturing

Raskin Bobbins

Somewhat like their counterparts in Great Britain, smaller American communities were engaged in industrial manufacture not in a small way. As early as the outbreak of the Civil War, Agincourt boasted several smaller companies sharing the Syndicate Mill. One of the founding companies was Raskin Bobbins, who made those wooden spooly thingies used in weaving, whether on hand or industrial looms.
